I'm not an expert by any means here. I have a brother HL-L2360 printer that I am trying to install on my linux 14.4 os and tried the methods shown here, but my extracted file couldn't be found as I used the terminal. I need some help to install. I may be doing some small thing wrong.

The Brother drivers are all 32 bit. Have a look at this:

for some suggestions on getting it installed.

It may be worthwhile just getting the ppd file for the printer from Brother and then see if CUPS (http://http://localhost:631/) can detect & install it automatically.
