SUSE 10 install - No hard disks found

Trying to re-install SUSE 10 on a Sony VAIO pcg grt816s laptop.

Tried all sorts of options but still keep getting No Hard Disks found.

There was a post about this sometime ago -- and I have an old image somewhere so there must have been a solution to this problem --but I can't remember the boot options.

I remember it was something in the options at boot from the install DVD but I really can't remember it.

Would be greatful for the solution.

Thanks.

Cheers

Found it

insmod=ide-generic.

You must also remove any wireless PCMCIA card you've inserted.

Cheers
