Hi, I'm trying to install the nforce kit driver from nvidia (audio and network driver). But I get the following errors:
...
/proc/version is Linux version 2.6.11.4-20a-default gcc version 3.3.5 20050117
...
No precompiled kernel interface was fond to match your kernel
...
--> performing cc-version-check witch CC="cc"
--> gcc-version-check failed
./nvsound/main/conftest.sh:line 9 command not found
could not compile gcc.version-check.c
This is what the installer says= Set the cc environment variable to the name of the compiler used to compile your kernel
(How can I do that, and where do I found the compiler that is used)
Or shall I better fix 'No precompiled kernel interface..."
Can somebody help with this???
Now the problem is i can't go on the internet when I'm on linux so if I have to download files I have to do it in windows and copy them then. But that's no problem, but think about it if you give a solution
THX
