konqueror - FTP - too many connections error

When uploading or download files through Konqueror I often am stopped with this message:

Server replied:
530 Sorry, the maximum number of clients (2) from your host are already connected.

Why are there extra clients?

Is there anything I can do to correct this? I really like using Konqueror for ftp.

Thanks,

Steve
