Allow Ftp Connections with SuSE 9

Hello there.
I set up a ftp server with suse 9 and pure-ftpd, it works fine locallly, but I can't connect from the outside, it gets connected, but I can't ls or get files. What configuration am I missing?. My router is setup to forward the ftp connections to my computer.
Thanks

You should check the conf file of the pure-ftp.

Open yast2 and check if your local firewall is allowing ftp servers on your machine. Try stopping the firewall and see if it ftps fine.
I had the same problem here.
