My power went out for a few minutes. At the time my power went out my linux box was running. Since the power came back on I have not been able to load the OS. It takes more time to get to the Grub Splash Screen and upon loading the system it takes a while to get to the loading of the system. Has anyone had this problem? If you have how did you fix it.

When you say the loading of the system, do you mean the SuSE splash screen? Have you tried to look at the boot messages (press F2)? Could you post anything from this that looks as though it might be an error message.

My guess is that the root filesystem has got corrupted. If I'm right, then you should see some messages about this, advising that you run fsck. There's some detailed advice about what to do if this is the case in this thread

Of course, its possible that I'm on completely the wrong track here. I won't be able to say for sure without seeing the boot messages.
