Winrar doesn't support testing .iso files for integrity. You might be able to open it with Winrar, doesn't mean it is not corrupt. You have to use a program like "hashcalc" to calculate the md5sum on the .iso file you downloaded and compare it with the checksum on opensuse.org. Next, you burn it as image to a "blank" CD and choose the "verify data" option when you burn it. Another way would be to run the md5sum on the CD itself. I don't remember if hashcalc lets you do this.
If NTI, is saying file size is too big to fit on the CD, make sure the CD you are burning is really blank. I use NTI myself and have burned SuSE .iso files to blank CDs. If it really is a blank CD and NTI is still complaining, then, I dunno !
Are you trying to make a bootable CD ? I mean, are you selecting the "make bootable CD" option in NTI ?
If the problem persists, let us know what exactly do you see on screen. Where does it stop exactly ? Post the full line of output.
