I had to break it up into to sections because of the charcter overun.

I usually do not have to deal withese kind of errors because I work on Sun SPARC boxes. Video issues are usually and incorrect setting or just a nad video card.
I sincerely hope you can make "heads or tails" of this.

Some how I garbaged the video configuration bad enough, it is going to require a new install.
The login screen actually looks like a piece of film being being melted by the lamp of a projector.
I tried the "last safe", but no avail.
I have ordered the media kit and am awaiting its arrival. I hope this build will be better at the start than the last.
I also have every note from the HCL on setting up the XFree86 updates for the video. I am not going to mess with the Xig
Summit drivers. Sun states that I just need to get the ATI update and add this to the XFree86 configuration files.
I also posted this info (more or less) in the Solaris 10 thread. Just to FYI you and let others know this is worth the extra effort.
