i work for sun mircosystems. My linux knowledge is improving slowly but is still pretty shaky!

Ive been trying to get games which will work on sun's workstations but have so far been unsuccessful. I'm not sure whether the computers that we are using
(sunray's) are configured as to not allow this type of thing or whether im just not installing the games correctly.

can any1 give me tips or links to games i can get working or any commands that i can use to help as i keep getting to the bit where i have to :

configure
make
make install

and thats it!

any help would be appreciated!

Are these machines sparc architecture? if so you need a source package for this kind of arch, not for the habitual x86.

When you say "unsuccessful", are you getting any error messages that might give us some clues? What game? Is it already compiled? Networked or local? ...
