Dual boot Win/Solaris 10.. possible??

I have installed Solaris 10 via DVD I bought from Sun. I am attempting to create a dual boot system (hope I said that right). I have one drive for Windows and one for Solaris. They are SATA drives and set to cable select without jumpers. I tried this once before with a boot loader and hosed the MBR on my Win drive.

Is there a way to do this without changing my boot device in bios every time I start my computer?

Note: when I installed Solaris, I disconnected my Windows drive (safety sake for the newbie) and installed the OS onto the new drive in the computer it will remain in.

Thank you.
Rick

Grub can easily boot Windows or any other OS located on a different drive.
Set the BIOS boot disk to the one where you install Solaris and you should be able to boot any OS from there.

Loads directly to desktop, no "grub" but with that information I did find this...

http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/features...ot_solaris.jsp

Hope it is the right "grub" to search for.

Thank you for your help.

A five years old page is unlikely to contain up to date information ...

Grub is the boot loader that shows up immediately after you reboot your system. It should present a menu where you can select the OS you want to boot, including Windows if it is present when you install Solaris. You can add it later if, like you do, the disk where Windows is installed is unplugged at OpenSolaris installation time, or if for some other reason, it doesn't show up.
