Hi all,
I'm installing Slackware v12.0 just now... after i reboot the machine, appear that message. Can somebody teach me how to solve this problem? or needs to re-install it back?
I just thought I would mention that it is usually considered inconsiderate to post two threads with the same subject in different categories in the same forum; then people might duplicate each others effort when replying to you, and you will have a greater chance of getting conflicting answers. Please just post one thread per subject.
How did you get Slackware to install GRUB? I thought LILO was the only choice. Please give more details about your setup---eg how many OSes are installed, order of installation ,etc.
Also, please don't use words like "urgent" here---it won't make anyone move faster.
Shucks! When I read the title my heart jumped a beat.
By chance do you have another distribution installed with grub? If so then you will have to edit your menu for grub to include your Slackware installation.
Please post your thread in only one forum. Posting a single thread in the most relevant forum will make it easier for members to help you and will keep the discussion in one place. This thread is being closed because it is a duplicate.
