slackware current doesn't get distributed with official isos (normally you're supposed to install stable and then move to current), but Alien Bob provides some isos with the latest stuff for our convenience

Transfer velocity: USB 2.0 vs SD?

I bit unrelated: which has greatest transfer velocity: USB 2.0 or SD? And by the way: how can I make windows 10 (linux related) recognize the SD? I inserted it but the OS (windows 10) does not notice.

The card is SDHC and Wikipedia says: version 2.0 = 25MB/s and for USB 2.0 gives 35MB/s. So only the second question stands.

I hate to be that guy...but if you have to ask where or how to get "current" then its usually a sign that stable version is better for you.

To be honest, it does raise flags. I have no intention of using current, but I did a quick Google and came to this:

https://docs.slackware.com/slackware:current

which lets the user know what to do.

The SD card should include at least one partition with a file system that Windows 10 can handle, like FAT, exFAT or NTFS. Prefer NTFS.

Other than that I second what ChangTzu suggested: stay with Slackware stable unless you intend to participate on testing the next Slackware version, helping to find and solve its issues, which is its only purpose.

install normal Slack , when you get to the pick your mirror after install to update your system that is where you turn it into current slack. on the second set of mirror sights to pick from.

Current Slackware is experimental, used to figure out what will be on the next stable release of Slackwhere. just so you know.

Indeed. If you choose to run the current branch you are expected to do some of your own trouble-shooting. As a rule we prefer to support full installations of the stable branch of Slackware.
On occasion there will be minor breakage in Slackware-current. Having said that I find Slackware64-current to be very stable. Slackware 15.0 is going to be another first rate release.

Among the files there, there is the mini-iso files. What does the mini do or what is it?

you can bootstrap it like the regular iso but it doesn't contain any packages, so you have to use a remote slackware mirror in the package installation step: I use it locally to install from an nfs/http server.

You can use the following script to download -current and make a DVD image from it.

I highly recommend Alien Bob's Slackware Live to install Current if you want a tricked out Slackware install. I installed it for a family member recently who had computer problems with Windows (Win 10 blue screens in the installer so its impossible to reinstall it) and they've really enjoyed it so far.
