VPN using pptp - Google pages failed to load on browser

Hi all,

I'm using pptp to connect to my uni's vpn server. All is working well, except for Google pages. I simply can't load any of them (can't use gmail, can't use google search, etc.) on my browser. Anybody have any ideas what went wrong?

I'm not sure what info I should give because, everything else seems to work okay even for console utilities (e.g. svn, wget,etc.).

Thanks!
