unison hangs on slackware-current

I am having a problem with unison on slackware-current. I recompiled and reinstalled unison using the slackbuild.org slackbuild for 13.1. I am using unison with ssh with key authentication. I have no problem using ssh directly. Unison hangs at "Contacting server" and never prompts for my passphrase.

When using "-debug verbose" mode it stops at "[remote] Shell connection: ssh (ssh, -l, carey, 192.168.0.3, -e, none, unison, -server)". The server logs do not indicated that ssh access was requested.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

I don't use Unison but have you tried the ssh command from the log 'by hand' ?

What happens when you type:
Code:
ssh -l carey -e none 192.168.0.3
Do you get a login prompt ?

Thanks, but as I mentioned, ssh works just fine.

Unison seems to work fine in text mode. It's only the gui that freezes.

The problem persists with 13.37. It seems to have to do with using key authentication, because if I use ssh-agent all works fine.
