i want to compile the 2.6.2 kernel, but i have problems with my touchpad. i found a patch , but i don't know how to do the patch. any suggestions would be appreciated!
Hey..... Think you could throw a url my way for that patch? Your right.... 2.6 kernels and the "new" built in synaptics driver is the biggest steaming pile of cow dung that I have ever seen... Someone was smoking crack when they did that one.... They even took out the tapping effect.... 2.4 kernels were beautiful in the way they handled the touchpad.... Don't fix it if it ain't broken... And certainly don't break it if it works...
