Slackware 11 problem

Hi all,

I attempted to install ndiswrapper on SW11 using the standard kernel, but after receiving errors duing it's install, I was told to upgrade to kernel 2.6.18 (the one on the sw install dvd).
I managed to do this, and it seems to be working fine, but when I load up KDE my mouse no longer works (ps2). I'm pretty much a beginner with linux, so am stumped about how to solve this problem out.

Any help would be appreciated!

Editted: put wrong kernel num in!

Try running "mouseconfig" from a command line (I don't know if you need to be root to do so).
