Slackware 9.0 Lan Card problem and a problem adding a user!


ok i looked around im using KDE in slackware 9.0 just installed. i had Man 9.1 but i switched. ok i cant find where to have it detect my lan card to get it online. and secondly i need to know how to add a user so im not permanently in root. thx

Moved: We have a Slackware specific forum.

Did it detect the LAN card during install? What kind of install did you do? What kind of LAN card is it?

Try using netconfig and see if that detects your card.

And you can use adduser to add users.
