Too bad the Gnome people went insane. I've got a pretty good start on a Gnome 2 desktop here. I'm running Trinity 3.5.12 as a desktop. I used XFCE on this box for a good, long time, though.

Well, here is my set, slack 13.1. Hopefully I have time soon to switch to 13.37 (and to update the slackbuilds I maintain!). One caveat: I sometimes tweak the configure option from the stock SBo scripts. To all the maintainers and the SBo crew: Thank you very much!

ffmpeg is surprisingly low. its one of the best softwares thats been developed the last years.
i guess thats partly because xine-lib and mplayer already include it.

Could be that many, and I include myself here, build the most recent git version with their own slackbuild?
