removing gxine plugin

Ok i recently d/led slackware 10.2 iso's which now comes with firefox preinstalled (was running 10.0 before) and gxine plugin enabled on it. Now ive searched all over the place on how to uninstall this plugin but cannot find anything that works.

So far i have tried editing the pluginreg.dat file in mozilla and firefox directories,
i have installed the firefox mimetype viewer extension which doesnt show anything
i have also looked in the firefox plugin directories which has no links
and finally i have deleted the pluginreg.dat file.

Could someone pleeaaaaaaaaase help me with this.
