removing gxine plugins


I was looking at some of the new stuff on kde 3.3.2, and saw gxine hmm, so ran it and did the little wizard and i accidently checked the browser box. Now the gxine plugin loads over any other media plugin and it doesnt work! how do i remove the plugin, i dont see it in the mozills/firefox plugin directory.

oh and whats the differnce between gxine & xine?

in a terminal ( you might want to be root, so you can see all users home dirs):

updatedb
slocate gxineplugin
you want to remove the gxineplugin.so files.

xine by itself is just an engine. the xine you are probably thinking of ( the gui) is a frontend called xine_ui, gxine is just a frontend to the engine also. others are totem, kaffeine, sinek, etc... All of them do the same thing though, provide a graphical interface to the xine engine.
