Question RDP client Vinagre requires libgstvideo

I am trying to run this app and get the following error:

Quote:
vinagre
vinagre: error while loading shared libraries: libgstvideo-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Where can I get the mentioned above libgstvideo or its sources to build & deploy it?

On Debian you would need libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-0 installed, perhaps it is named similar in your distro.

Code:
seeder1@haswell:~$ apt-file search libgstvideo
gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstvideofiltersbad.so
gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstvideoframe_audiolevel.so
gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstvideoparsersbad.so

Hi,
Have you tried https://packages.slackware.com/ to see if it is included in a Slackware release?

To tag onto Gordie's suggestion:

Slackware-current just upgraded to gst-plugins-base-1.18.0 yesterday (I'm still on 1.16.2 since I haven't synced with that update yet).

Slackware 14.2 comes with gst-plugins-base-1.6.4

Both of these packages install the "libgstvideo-1.0.so" shared library in /usr/lib(64) so you shouldn't have any problem. Maybe including your Slackware version and whether or not you have a full installation of it would help.
