Unhappy problem with shared libraries (SDL-1.2.7 and ESD)

I'm having some troubles with shared libraries. After compiling and installing SDL-1.2.7 (because of dependecies problems with qemu) and removing enlightenment from my system, I can't get k3b and gmplayer to start.

K3b:
k3b: error while loading shared libraries: libesd.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

gmplayer:
gmplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I am running slackware 10.0 with kernel 2.4.26 i686

Please help!!!!

Hi,

here's a solution for k3b:
Install the package esound-0.2.34-i486-1.tgz from the first Slackware CD (in directory slackware/l). You can do this from a console as root if you go to this directory and type
Code:
installpkg esound-0.2.34-i486-1.tgz
.

For libDSL: I recommend downloading sdl for Slackware 10.0 on linuxpackages.net (Link to package is here) and installing it also; that should solve your problems. If not, tell us :-)

Greetings,

Seppel
