shared libraries problem after install shadow-4.0.4.1

hello,

i just installed shadow-4.0.4.1 and i keep receiving the following error if i try to fire up pwconv or grpconv:

pwconv: error while loading shared libraries: libmisc.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

i know libmisc.so.0 and all the other files are there and my symlinks to them are correct, but i also know i must be doing something wrong.

search google but could not find anything like this. mabey somebody knows what happening? if you need more info i would be happy to provide

thx!

Olaf
