Parser.c mismatch

When I boot -current64 (kernel-10.1.0) to run level 3, about 10 lines before the login prompt I see

Code:
Parser.c: loadable library and perl binaries are mismatched (got handshake key 0xcd00080, needed 0xed00080)
Seems to cause no problems that I can see. The only place I see parser.c is in the kernel code. Before I start looking thru the perl packages I have installed has anyone else seen this or have any ideas about the cause? Thanks

It has been a perl update and some perl module will not work with it.

yes, it is a pure perl issue, not related to the kernel at all. See a similar discussion here: https://github.com/perl/perl5/issues/15861

It will cause problems if you want to use the given perl module [only]. And it looks like the system tried to use it, that's why you got that error message.

Thank you all for the responses. It was indeed a pure perl issue, one involving a a module I built from Eric's repository some time ago. Rebuilt it using his SlackBuild and the error I saw went away on rebooting. Some other errors then surfaced that will require rebuilding modules. Thought I had already done that after the last perl upgrade but obviously not. So off to the builds this afternoon. Thank you all again for responding and your insight.
