[SOLVED] Looking for better streaming audio/video app

Hey, I just wanted to get some ideas for a better app for streaming audio and video (internet radio and streaming video type of stuff) because gxine is absolutely horrid (IMHO - it crashes all the time among other bugs).

Any suggestions?

Alien Bob's VLC package.

Or the latest SVN MPlayer (which no longer depends on Live555 or libnemesi for RTSP handling).
