Streaming audio and video....
Hi,
Just installed RH 9 and everything is great, except for audio and video. I can't play streaming audio or video (newscasts basically). I have tried installing the plug-ins into Netscapte 7.1 but still no luck. I am at the point of installing WINE and running win apps to view this stuff. RP8 will not pick up either. I can play cd and other audio without a problem with either RP or XMMS.
System is just a Dell with on-board audio. I haven't even checked the stats on the audio, maybe I should do that. LOL.
Many Thanks
Sharon

Hi, u could download realone play for linux and install it. if you don't like it, no problem, you can use xine to play RM just identify the code' path to xine. Now, restart your xine again and see what happy, Good luck!
BTW: i dont like mplayer, for i never suceseed installing it on my computer. and to me, xine is enough. i can use xine play anything on my computer.. but there is s little problem, if i use xine to play rm files, when it is close to end,,xine seems to be crashed, i don't know know why.
