kernel compiling


hey guys, i am trying to compile the 2.4.20 kernel, and i keep getting this message at the end of the make modules install...

Warning: LBA32 addressing assumed
Added 2.4.18 *

why is it giving me this warning, and why does it say added 2.4.18??? i was compiling the 2.4.20, and i followed the directions on p-two.net anyone have any answers??

that's not modules_install.. presumably that's bzlilo, as that is clearly a message directly from lilo, not the kernel make itself.

make modules_install

not... make modules install

And if you properly edited lilo.conf, and /usr/src/linux-2.4.20/Makefile, lilo will be properly updated, and you'll see...
