if you have a win partition and windows installed just go to windows/fonts right click on font and install them or if not,
download russian fonts and do the same right click on font file , install
or copy your rassian (downloaded or from win) fonts to /usr/local/share/fonts
have fun!!

_gnomm: I copied everything in c:/WINDOWS/Fonts to /usr/local/share/fonts, but I still can't read cyrillic characters on web pages!
I have the x11-fonts-cyrillic package installed and I'm using Slackware 10.2

There is a good thread on installing fonts here:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ighlight=fonts
I can now see Cyrillic characters (could not before I did this). But I still can't read them
