Cyrillic characters recognition with OCRAD?

Hi all.
Today i wanted to save some scanned cyrillic (russian) text with OCRAD (using Kooka as frontend if it's matters), and found that it can't recognize cyrillic characters: just outputs a bunch of latin letters instead. Is there any way to fix it?
