Getting the trackpad to work on Surface Pro 3

Hello friends,

Any of you has any idea on how to get the trackpad to work on a surface pro 3?
I used to have ubuntu installed on my sp3 with the trackpad working (after adding some guy's repository) but I am changing all my computers to Slackware and so far I haven't managed to get the trackpad working.
The "mouse" buttons and the keyboard work fine.

Can you tell more about the repository you've added in order to make the trackpad work?

I suppose there are not many people here who use Surface Pro 3, but we could probably adapt the Ubuntu solution to Slackware if knew what exactly it was.
