Fireglcontrol

My environment: ATI Radeon 9000 Pro, Slackware 10, Kernel 2.4.26. xorg 6.70

what im trying to do: I have already installed and have fglrx working great with xorg. I have a tv that i am using with the tv out on my ati card. but it needs adjustments. so instead of going back and forth editing my xorg file and restarting x a million times, and not knowing what i am doing, I thought i'd give the fireglcontrol panel worth a shot. So i got the source from the package i compiled the driver from, but when i try to compile i get this error:

Code:
bash-3.00$ make
g++ -c  -O2 -fno-strength-reduce -funsigned-char -Wall -W -Dlinux -DFGLRX_USE_XEXTENSIONS -DFGLRX_OGL_INFO -DQT_NO_STL -I/usr/lib/qt/include -I. -I./include_dummy main.cpp
main.cpp: In function `int main(int, char**)':
main.cpp:30: error: parse error before `)' token
make: *** [main.o] Error 1
its not making it to far! can anyone help me understand what is going on here?

could you post the lines before line 30 of the main.cpp file, say 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 ?

I have never been able to get the ATI control panel to work under slackware, I tried for a while as well. It would probably be better just to state what you need to configure or what is wrong, so that someone can get your the correct xorg.conf settings that you need.

Thanks
Trey
