Firefox bookmarks

Thanks H_TeXMeX_H. I appreciate your help. Sry so long to get back but network issue was just resolved. Everything is working great now. I just have one question about putting the bak'd up bookmarks back in place. I've tried two different paths: /usr/src/firefox/firefox/defaults/profile and /home/myname/.mozilla/firefox/defaults/*.profile but neither has work. I put them in there the way I saved them bookmark-2007*.html and cp them as bookmark.html and making the orig. a bak up. Can you or anyone help me put my bookmarks back into firefox. All help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Ok,

1) Open FF
2) Goto Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> File -> Import
3) Point it to the bookmarks.html and it will import them

I have the same problem, with the difference that after a few shutdowns of firefox, it can't be re-opened. To do so I have to restart the computer. That really pisses me off. Have someone already fixed this annoying bug?? Do we have to contact mozilla firefox's developers to find answers?
