chirpper LQ Newbie Registered: Mar 2004 Distribution: Slackware 9.1 Posts: 1 Rep:	ERROR MESSAGE- home kernel: ... end of device Hey folks. I have a fairly new install of slack 9.1, and I just noticed this error this morning: Mar 2 04:42:21 home kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Mar 2 04:42:22 home kernel: 02:00: rw=0, want=16, limit=4 I have several of these, then they will stop, then start again. All the research I have done points to Hard Drive failure or possibly Removable Devices (which I have none of). Any help would be much appreciated! Ben Watson ben@dinointernet.com
