current-64: ld.so.conf LIBDIRSUFFIX mismatch?

On a fully updated 64-current:
Code:
$ cat /etc/ld.so.conf
/lib64
/usr/lib64
/usr/local/lib64
/usr/x86_64-slackware-linux/lib64
/usr/lib64/seamonkey
$ tree -d /usr/x86_64-slackware-linux/
/usr/x86_64-slackware-linux/
├── bin
└── lib
    └── ldscripts -> /usr/lib64/ldscripts

3 directories
There doesn't seem to be any libraries in there anyway, so perhaps that ld.so.conf entry isn't necessary anyway?

Well in the future it may.

Your packages install libraries into /usr/x86_64-slackware-linux/lib rather than /usr/lib{,64}?

I was under the impression that it's just toolchain components that use the directories named after the target-triplet, but perhaps I'm misunderstanding the purpose of this directory.

Anyway, the point to my post was that the listed lib64 directory doesn't exist.
