Change password for browser (keyring) and Gmail

I use Slack 14.2 with Xfce and Gmail, and I'd like to change the passwords for the browser (Chromium) and Gmail. Rather than blunder around and make another mess, I'd prefer to do it the safe and simple way. Suggestions requested, and thanks in advance.

I won't be much help with changing the password for Chromium as I don't use that browser, sorry.

With Gmail you would go into your settings to change your password.
Settings> Account and Import> Change password:-

Look in your home directory for .cache. The keyrings are in there. Delete em and start over
