Auto startup of keytouch software in slackware 12.0

In the boot process I saw the line;

Code:
starting keytouch-init
just before the login screen.

However,all my configuration seems lost unless I start keytouch and click OK or Apply in the configuration window.I however,did not have to reselect my choices,and my configuration is intact.But it seems to not applying the configuration.

Any idea?

since no one has replied can you post just the relevant lines you see for your hardware and any keytouch references in
/var/log/syslog please

can I assume you have read the manual or at least this page?
http://keytouch.sourceforge.net/user_manual/node18.html

sorry I thought it was hw but its software to run hw.

2) that message is coming from your init scripts. But maybe your preferences are not correctly saved?

it should be called by a run level link pls check /etc/rc5 runlevel and /etc/init.d for the script....also you may have...I do not have your software so guessing..../etc/foldername=keytouch or /etc/keytouch file?

ok if you can not see it in init try a larger search

and then replace with keytouch as well pls.....just report the config files you find, if any, and the folders for other stuff like docs
