I test current tarball for dolphin not work , ...i see later in the kde week note...
And last but not least… fixed a major source of the infamous Dolphin bug where folders don’t update in real-time when contents are modified in another app (Méven Car, Frameworks 5.106. Link)
Then the FIX is spected on frameworks-5.106
We get today 5.105 , hope some frameworks-5.105.1 to fix...or wait to 106.
1 month to next point release ...sad
5.106 TAGGED --> Sat May 6, 2023 RELEASED --> (expected) Sat May 13, 2023

kde/digikam-8.0.0-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
Code:
$ digikam
Illegal instruction
Any one ran into this problem after the latest update? A bit of googling lead me to a similar problem with AMD Athlon II cpu's. I have a Phenom II cpu, which seems to have the same limitation (SSE4.1) in its instruction set:
Rebuilding digikam using the Slackware-current slackbuild prevents the error, but starting digikam hangs at the splash screen. The installation of the newly build digikam ended with
Code:
Package digikam-8.0.0-x86_64-1 upgraded with new package /tmp/kde_build/applications-extra/digikam-8.0.0-x86_64-1.txz.
** Did not find 'kaudiocreator' in src
** Did not find 'kwebkitpart' in src
** Did not find 'labplot' in src
Anything else I could try to get around this problem?

This week in KDE: “Make multi GPU not suck”
Nate. April 14, 2023.
This week a lot of bugs and other issues got fixed, including a major overhaul of KWin’s multi-GPU infrastructure for Intel and AMD GPUs in Plasma 6 to make it “not suck” anymore! Big thanks to Xaver Hugl for this impactful work................
