I reinstalled Slackware64 Current using Slackware Live early last week because my computer would hang occasionally with the computer light on and low CPU usage. After installing multilib and updating it last week it started doing it again. I have no idea what the problem is. Anyway, I'm missing icons for minimized running programs like antimicrox and steam on my panel's taskbar. Any idea how I can fix that?
It seems importing Google Calendars in KOrganizer is not working in Slackware Stable. In Slackware current it was working fine, I switched back to stable since some SBo packages (MEGASync) were oftentimes affected by "core" package updates. I am happy with stable, but the problem with the missing calendars is annoying. It probably has something to do with the version bump from 21.12 (stable) to 22.12 (current). Would it be safe to just upgrade the KOrganizer package using the current tree?

Usually, updating a binary package from a newer version of Slackware on an older installation of Slackware will not work as the newer version has linked against newer libraries. However, if you look in the sources directory of the newer version of Slackware you might find sources and a Slackbuild script which might be useful to build a new binary package for the older version of Slackware.

This week in KDE: All about the apps
Nate. April 8, 2023.
This week some of your favorite KDE apps got lots of positive changes! Dolphin, Kate, Okular, Elisa, Partition Manager, and Filelight all received some nice improvements.......
I see some weeks back , if dolphin is opened and have the folders tab , when i use "upgradepkg" , the folders panel got a miss icons after upgrade , press refresh and returns , thats probably this big explains , cause some folders modified on the upgrade task and no refresh on real-time.

And last but not least… fixed a major source of the infamous Dolphin bug where folders don’t update in real-time when contents are modified in another app (Méven Car, Frameworks 5.106. Link)
Im experiencing another dirty bug since some months ,
1 - configure desktop as folder
2 - try to drag and drop a big file from other partition or device to desktop and see how the options menu delays a long time , like if system are making some cache or something , if no drag and drop , and do same action , then options menu appears fast as ever.
If reboot that cached action dissapears , all files you try to drag & drop to desktop need time to be cached...
Probably i explain bad.
See after this update cause its probably reñated to folders not updated in real-time bug , but not sure.
Sorry cause im not expert and not know how releases from kde works, but if im not understand bad , this changelog is for future 5.106 , nothing to do in last release 5.105 , true ?
Im not sure if the fix is for plasma-frameworks or directly dolphin , are in different parts of plasma development ...
frameworks-5.10x
dolphin-22.12.x
+++++++++++++++
Easy test ..
1 - open dolphin and see folders of system are on pannel ...
EDIT: Tested today update framework 5.105 not fix the issue , probably fix in new dolphin or frameworks 5.106 , i hope fix comes soon in a new dolphin.
