Due to a busy schedule recently I haven't been as often a visitor to the General forum as I should have. This thread is beyond disappointing. I'm closing it while I re-evaluate the General forum here at LQ. I've been reticent to remove General or make sweeping changes because I think it serves an important purpose. While I remain a rabid proponent of free speech the continued vitriol, misinformation, and just poor behavior isn't something that belongs at LQ. Posts such as #286 are absolutely not acceptable for a mod. We'll review that as well. As always your feedback is welcome and encouraged - do feel free to contact me directly on the matter.
