Gotta love those ٱٱٱٱٱٱٱ&#

I went into control center or konq settings and imported fonts from xp into linux. After that i have ٱٱٱٱٱٱٱٱٱٱ ٱٱٱ ٱٱ's all over the place on my webpages only.... is there something i can do to reset those? i try to go into control center > fonts and i get an error and it closes. I also went into all the settings and tried all defualts and there still there.

Can i uninstall konq? if so how... then insert cd to install again?

Can i just delete those fonts by looking at the dates? if so, where are the fonts at?

Please don't double, triple, quadruple, etc post. I know it can be frustrating not getting an immediate answer, but it's not because people are ignoring you. Duplicate posts aren't going to get you an answer any quicker, in fact probably just the opposite.

Bro - with over 200 posts, I'm surprised that you are (apparently) unfamiliar with the rules against cross-posting. Please direct your attention to http://www.linuxquestions.org/rules.php and in particular, the following: "Do not post the same discussion in more than one forum."

Again, I'm sorry if you are having trouble with your fonts. I'd help you if I could, but I'm not familiar with this problem. Maybe someone else is, but in the meantime, Capt Caveman is right: cross posting is a bad idea because any potentially useful information will be distributed across multiple threads instead of being concentrated within one single thread. Good luck with things, I hope somebody can offer a solution to this problem, but submitting yet another post will not score you any points. -- J.W.

Wrong, if you haven't noticed the Newbie forum has almost just as many threads and posts as the Linux - General. You should only use this forum if you feel your question doesn't belong anywhere else on the forums.

If you think you made a mistake and want to move your thread, report it to a moderator and they will move it most likely.

You did double post and you should really know better for as long as you've been around.

Closing this thread.
