Question Where do Startup Application go?

I have a script file which uses xrandr to configure and arrange 3 monitors. In order to run this when the user logs in I reference it from the desktop menu: System --> Preferences --> Startup Applications.
This works ok.... My question is, is this set of startup applications kept in a file (something like a graphical version of .bashrc?)
I would like to know as it would be useful for my documentation.
Thanks

Scrips and app that are run on startup are called from a file. Location and name of file depends on runlevel (at what time app starts), if it starts at the end of boot than it depends on your desktop environment (xfce,gnome...) you are using.

I am looking for the name of the file or files that store the apps which start automatically when a user logs into a graphical (gnome) session.
They are set up from the GUI from System Tab --> Preferences --> Startup Applications.
I am going to close this and open it in Linux General as it is a Gnome issue rather than Red Hat specific.

Thanks for help.
