Redhat 9.1 update question

At work I had to update the redhat 9.1 install.

The updates I downloaded were from ftp://mirror.cs.wisc.edu/pub/mirrors/linux/redhat/

If you go there, there is a folder for each version of RH, I have 9.1. But there was no 9.1 directory, just 9. So I chose that one (9). But I have redhat 9.1. I used autodld to update with.

I rebooted, and started evolution e-mail and tried to open the print settings....both just hung and didnt' do anything. I'm wondering if this could be because I updated with the wrong files....any ideas?

Redhat never released a version 9.1. Could you possibly confusing Mandrake v9.1 for Redhat 9.1?

Updating blindly is a good way to hose your system. Hopefully you have recent backups of anything that you will miss if you need to reinstall from scratch.
