RedHat Update question...

Just a real quick question...I have a system on my home network (Running RH 8.0).

The only problem I am having is that I do not recall what email address I specified when I set it up with Red Hat Network.

Is there some way to find out what the account is that is tied to the system without using Red Hat Network?

I was thinking there may be a key some where on the system?

Any help would be great.

T.

Do you remember your RHN username and password? If yes you can logon to http://rhn.redhat.com and find out. Even change your email address.

hehehe...

that's the thing, I do not remember anything for this system.
It has been awhile now since I have even used it. I was trying to find out if it was possible to search the system locally to find everything out...

Check /etc/sysconfig/rhn/systemid for your username and see if that rings a bell. If not, you can register it under another RHN user profile as another machine.
