Gnome's not functioning

I've just killed ASPLinux9 and installed RedHatLinux9.

When I started session of Gnome - it started whithout problems.

But when I want to start any program - I push any button or launch terminal from desktop context menu and... happens nothing. Except the animation of button-pressing.

Have anyone met something like that?

i faced the same problem a fwe months back...it was solved by adding more RAM (increasing swap space didnt help)...
