Have you tried installing via cpan?

It's quite easy - open a terminal, su to root, type 'cpan' then at the prompt type

install threads
install threads:shared

the problem is that in the server, there's no cpan... and i have not been authorized to install it...

But i resolve the problem by taking out the -Wdeclaration-after-statement from the make... now i'm waiting for the user confirmation that it's all right.

PD: Sorry for my english
