How do u compile python?


How do u compile python code? Thanks!

If you wish to run it on Linux, simply save it as a text file with the extension of *py. Then to launch it, type
Code:
python yourfilenamehere.py
. The same applies to Windows. If you wish to distribute your code as a Windows executable, you will need to use the great utility py2exe.

you don't. it's an interpreted language, just write it and run it.

I understand that the language is interpreted, but what if I WANTED to compile for the reason of running it, wether or not python is installed on that particulare machine?
