Mepis - system bell

hello,

I've been investigatin Mepis recently....

seems good...

however, whenever i am using a terminal/console, the system bell keeps bleeping on fasle completions, errors etc.

i dont know why, as i've set system bell style to 'none' in /etc/inputrc.

can anyone shed any light on this?

If you're using Konsole, you need to go into "Settings" and select "none" for the system bell for it. Konsole uses it's own config file.
