When I try to follow the instructions in your signature, I find some of hte information on that page to be out of date and some of the links not to work, do you have any new information?

If you use the site at zebulon.org.uk as a reference for urpmi and then use the tool at easyurpmi to set it up, then everything should work fine.

Yes it's out of date, but the information provided on using URPMI is applicable...

as is that big hint (wink, wink) about getting DVD's to work... nudge, nudge, wink, wink...

As reddazz said, the Zebulon site merely takes you to an EASYURPMI mirror.

He's given you another link for it...

Remember that you can also set up multiple "sources" (that's what that "prefix" business is all about) for the same thing...

This way if one site is down, busy or slow to respond, your system will merely move on to another site to get a file it may need.
