question about mandrake download
i wanna ask if the download of mandrake 10 is free of charge? or if there is a fee to pay it, do you guys have any idea where i can download it for free?
mandrake, like most (maybe all?) linux distros can be downloaded free of charge.
however, mandrake encourages you to join their club if you like their distro, thus paying in form of "donations", but it is not mandatory.
you can download Mdk 10 official already from suprnova.org using a Bittorrent client. most of the things offered on suprnova are illegal though, so be careful. hit the search button on the top of the site and search for "mandrake" to see the mandrake packages that they have.
or you can wait until mandrake releases the official version to the public... right now it's only available for their club members.

i doubt, if they'll be releasing that mdk 10 here in the Phils. i only saw 2 distro being sold out here. rh 8 and mdk 8 or later... so i'd rather have my bf download me some copy of it, but he told there is a fee, like $5 or something, not pretty sure.
