Need to change kmix master control

I am using Mandriva 2007
How do I change the kmix master control in order to have the tray volume control change with the front channel of my sound card?
I have an Audigy LS soundcard

run kmix and allow it to go to system tray ...if its not already there.

2) right hand click icon and select MASTER CHANNEL click on radio button for your new volume selection

3) left hand click icon gives slider volume control for new channel
